General Terms and Conditions – Pressure Canning Products

Article 1: Definitions

  • Reflection period: the time you have to decide whether to cancel your purchase.

  • Consumer: you, the individual buying something, not acting as a business.

  • Day: a calendar day.

  • Right of withdrawal: your right to cancel your purchase within the reflection period.

  • Model withdrawal form: the form you use to cancel your purchase, provided by Pressure Canning Products to facilitate your exercise of the right of withdrawal.

  • Pressure Canning Netherlands: the company selling goods/services to you.

  • Distance contract: an agreement in which you (the customer) and Pressure Canning Netherlands are not in the same location when the purchase is made.

  • Means of distance communication: methods such as the internet that allow you to make a purchase without you and Pressure Canning Netherlands being physically together.

  • General Terms and Conditions: these Terms and Conditions of Pressure Canning Products.

Article 3: Scope

  1. These Terms and Conditions apply to everything offered by Pressure Canning Products and to every purchase you make via our website.

  2. Before you place an order, we will inform you that these Terms and Conditions exist and where you can find them.

  3. Situations not explicitly covered here will be resolved in line with the objectives of these Terms and Conditions.

 

Article 4: Our Offer

  1. Limited offers – if an offer is only valid for a limited period or under certain conditions, we will clearly state this.

  2. Changes to offers – we may amend or withdraw our offers at any time if necessary.

  3. Accuracy of descriptions – we strive to describe our products as clearly as possible. Images are illustrative; minor errors do not bind us.

  4. Specifications & liability – product specifications are prepared with care; they cannot give rise to compensation claims or order cancellation.

  5. Product photos – images are authentic, though colors may vary slightly in real life.

  6. Pre-purchase information – for every offer we will clearly state:

    • Total price (including taxes)

    • Shipping costs, if any

    • Whether you have a right of withdrawal

    • Payment and delivery methods

    • Validity period for any special price offers

  7. Before finalizing your order, you can review and correct all data you entered.

  8. We will indicate on our website where the General Terms and Conditions may be consulted.

 

Article 5: The Purchase

  1. Your order is confirmed when you accept our offer and meet its conditions (unless Article 5.4 provides otherwise).

  2. Upon acceptance, we will immediately send you an email confirming your order details.

  3. We will take appropriate security measures to protect your data and ensure a secure website and payment environment.

  4. On our website we will clearly display:

    • Our contact address for complaints

    • Instructions for exercising your right of withdrawal (or a notice if it does not apply)

    • Warranty and after-sales service information

    • The procedure for order cancellation

 

Article 6: Returning Your Purchase (Right of Withdrawal)

  • You may cancel your purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. The period starts the day after you receive the product.

  • During this period you must handle the product and packaging with care. If you withdraw, return the product with all accessories and in its original condition and packaging.

  • To exercise your right of withdrawal, notify us within 14 days of receipt—using the standard form on our website—and then return the product within 5 days. You must prove timely dispatch (e.g., via shipping receipt).

  • If you fail to notify us in time and/or do not return the product within the period, the purchase becomes final.

 

Article 7: Costs of Withdrawal

  • Return shipping costs are your responsibility.

  • Upon receiving the returned product (or proof of return), we will refund you within 14 days.

  • Refunds are only made once we have received the item or valid proof of shipment.

 

Article 8: When Withdrawal Does Not Apply

  • You cannot withdraw after the 14-day period has expired.

  • You cannot withdraw if the product was damaged by you within 14 days of delivery (we recommend recording an unboxing video as proof of any pre-existing defects).

 

Article 9: Prices

  • During the validity of a special offer, prices will not change—except if VAT rates change.

  • All prices on the site include VAT.

  • In case of pricing errors, we are not obliged to supply at the incorrect price.

 

Article 10: Quality and Warranty

  • We guarantee our products meet promised quality, functionality, and legal requirements.

  • Our warranty does not affect your statutory rights, which remain in force even after the warranty expires.

  • If there’s an obvious defect on delivery, notify us within 2 weeks and return the product (in original packaging and condition).

  • For later defects under warranty, proper packaging is sufficient; original packaging is not required.

  • Warranty period: 2 years from delivery date on our pressure canners.

  • We are not liable for failures related to uses not described in the user manual (available via QR code on the box).

Warranty exclusions:

  • Damage from unauthorized tampering or modifications.

  • Improper or abnormal use contrary to our instructions.

 

Article 11: Delivery and Performance

  • We aim to process and ship orders quickly and accurately.

  • We deliver to the address you provided.

  • Orders will ship as soon as possible, but no later than 15 days after purchase. If we cannot meet this deadline, we will notify you within 15 days, and you may cancel free of charge with a full refund.

  • We assume risk for loss or damage until delivery to you or a person you designate.

 

Article 12: Complaints Handling

  • We maintain a clear complaints procedure and handle complaints accordingly.

  • Complaints about the performance of the purchase must be submitted clearly and in full within 7 days of discovery.

  • We will respond to complaints within 14 days of receipt. If resolution takes longer, we will acknowledge your complaint within 14 days and indicate when you can expect a substantive reply.

  • Unresolved disputes may be referred to a dispute resolution scheme.

  • You may also use the EU ODR platform: http://ec.europa.eu/odr.

  • A complaint does not suspend our contractual obligations unless we confirm otherwise in writing.

  • If a complaint is justified, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace products at no cost.

 

Article 13: Applicable Law

Dutch law governs purchases between you and us, even if you reside outside the Netherlands.
The CISG (Vienna Sales Convention) does not apply.

 

Article 14: Additional or Deviating Rules

Not every situation can be spelled out here. We commit to handling any issues reasonably and in good faith when you file a complaint.
